How Can We Help?

Camp Safety

More than ever, we are committed to helping children learn and empower them to build and create with technology. We understand the difficulties surrounding your child’s learning during this time, and we are here to help you and your child with their learning as we transition into a new normal. As with most businesses, adaptions will be made to services moving forward.

Our MoneyBack Guarantee – Our worry free booking guarantee means that if we are unable to operate our camps due to government restrictions, we will be able to offer you credit or a full refund

Epic Camps | Children's Holiday Camps That Inspire

We previously ran a very successful period of online sessions, to assist in at-home learning, and have ran successful camps since Summer 2020. We are continually reviewing government guidance for education and childcare settings and are pleased to announce that we will continue to run our fun and enriching Tech Camps across all tiers to help parents through this time providing an enriching form of childcare following our 10 step safety procedures outlined below:

  1. Household risk questionnaire required for every student enrolled
  2. 1-way queuing for drop off and collection with 2m spacing with temperature checks on arrival
  3. Limited number of students per camp & social distancing practices
  4. Use of large, well ventilated halls / multiple classrooms / outdoor spaces
  5. Sterilisation of all devices before and after use
  6. Hand washing between all activities, toilet breaks and food consumption
  7. Fun outdoor games during breaks that adhere to social distancing rules
  8. Teacher contactless control of all devices from a main computer
  9. Weekly Bookings online so we have the same children throughout the week
  10. Staff measures in place to ensure they are safe to work with children.

COVID FAQ's

In the event of a lockdown whereby we have to cancel our camp you will be notified as early as possible via email. We will provide you with credit or a full refund if we cancel our camp owing to a COVID lockdown.

In all isolation circumstances we will offer you full credit for the days not attending for use at a future camp period.

If you cancel your own camp space then we will follow our own terms and conditions with regards to your credit or refund.

We advise that your child should NOT attend camp if they have any symptoms of COVID and we would need to be informed if this is the case. We would encourage you to receive a test for your child during this time.

Your child should not attend camp if they have had contact with someone who has tested positive or shown symptoms of COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to camp.

In the case of your child or a household member receiving a positive test result for Coronavirus, you must inform us immediately. The local Public Health team can work with us to establish who the ‘close contacts’ are and all parents from your child’s camp bubble will be notified. PHE (NHS Track & Trace) will then take the lead in contacting anybody concerned, asking them to isolate for 14 days. Whoever has tested positive will need to self-isolate for 10 days, and the rest of their household for 14 days.

All our enrolled children will be placed into bubbles that they will remain in all week.

Children will all have their own desks and seat all week and all their belongings will be kept with them at their stations throughout the week. Packed lunches will also be eaten at their desks and they will be asked to wash their hands regularly. We provide hand sanitiser that is available for use all day.

One way systems are encouraged within our camp premises area and staggered breaks are taken during the day from the other bubbles.

Equipment is NOT shared and each child will have their own equipment to work with. This equipment will be cleaned between usage and their stations are also cleaned regularly through each day.

We will not be providing any food or beverages for your child so please ensure that your child brings with them a NUT FREE packed lunch, adequate drink for the day and snacks if you wish.

We encourage all children in each bubble to play outside during the morning break, lunch and afternoon break.

We set up obstacle courses and non-contact sport activities for them to participate in and definitely encourage a good run around!

Please provide your child with weather appropriate clothing for outdoor activity.

Please be aware that all our locations have different outside settings and we therefore cannot guarantee that their clothing will not get muddy so please ensure that they are not dressed in their best clothes for camp.
